Lobby is the first phase of Civitia mainnet launch. In Civitia's game lobby:
Testnet players will be able to claim their Testnet rewards. Any rewards not claimed by the end of the lobby phase will be forfeited.
By bridging and holding INIT during the Lobby phase, users will earn SILVER at a specific rate.
Lobby users will also earn Initia VIP rewards (esINIT) based on their accumulated SILVER. Note that SILVER earned through referrals will not be taken into account in the VIP score.
Founding Citizens minting will happen at the end of the Lobby phase.
The lobby phase aims to ensure all Civitia players are incentivized to bridge INIT earlier instead of waiting until the last moment and potentially suffer from bridge delays and/or issues.
What are Testnet rewards?Testnet claimable rewards are .
GOLD is a non-transferrable onchain token.
Genesis cities are Babylon and Alexandria, 100% owned by Testnet players.
All rents and income from Genesis cities will accrue to their owners.
What is SILVER?Similarly to GOLD in Testnet, SILVER is non-transferrable.
Civitia SILVER can only be earned by contributing to the Civitia ecosystem.
Earning SILVER increases your scoring to receive INIT rewards.
How do I earn SILVER?Users can earn SILVER during lobby phase by bridging INIT and/or referring other users.
To earn SILVER during lobby phase, non-testnet players are required to introduce a referral code.
Users that bridge and keep INIT in Civitia L2 will earn SILVER based on their real-time balances.
where I = INIT amount held by users (tokens) and t = Time duration of INIT holdings in fractional days
That means that keeping a balance of 100 INIT earns 5 SILVER per day.
SILVER is accrued in real-time so changes in balances are constantly taken into account.
Users that link their X accounts will also be able to create a referral code to onboard new players:
Referrers will earn 3% of their referee's SILVER
Referees will earn 1% additional SILVER
How do I earn VIP rewards?SILVER farmers are distributed INIT from the Initia VIP mechanism.
The VIP score in each epoch is equal to the SILVER accrued during the epoch.
However, SILVER earned from referral codes is excluded in the VIP score.
Do I keep my SILVER balance after the lobby phase?Yes, SILVER balances are not lost upon getting these rewards and will be kept after launch.
After launch, SILVER will only be obtained by playing Civitia game.
What are Founding Citizens?Founding Citizens are limited-edition NFT assets within the Civitia ecosystem that will only be available during Lobby phase. This equipment will not only enhance your game journey but also pave the way for a truly onchain, community-owned ecosystem, together with SILVER and GOLD. Details will be announced soon.
What's the duration of the lobby phase?To prevent mercenary farming of SILVER, lobby exact duration will not be disclosed beforehand.
However, we can confirm lobby phase will NOT exceed 6 weeks.
